Hi everyone!

My name is Karen, I live on the (sometimes) sunny NSW Central Coast, have a partner who has three great kids, have 4 1/2 dogs (share one with the partner), and am discovering the world of paper crafts and scrapbooking!

Started scrapbooking approx 5 yr ago, and have realised it's an ever evolving craft ... so many new things, techniques etc coming out all the time - it's hard to keep up! For example, recently discovered Copic markers - oh what fun we are having now! As a consequence, my house is always one of organised chaos lol.

I fund my hobbies (or habits, I haven't decided which yet) working as a pet groomer here on the coast, which also caters for my love of animals. I have been showing dogs since I was 8 yr old, and will never be with a canine companion. Next year, hopefully one of the girls will be having puppies - a whole new subject to scrap!

Another weekend goes by ...

Had a nice, normal, peaceful weekend this weekend ...
Saturday, of course, had to work, but it was a good day ... nothing stressful, a lot of laughs - the way work should be (and why I enjoy it so much!)
Due to the terrible weather last weekend, the Putt Putt Regatta at Davistown was postponed ... we did have a forecast for rain this sunday, but luckily, it held off until the end of the day, so we were able to have a quick visit to the Regatta . Spied some beautiful hand made wooden putt putts, canoes and kayaks ... so much talent!
Recently, we adopted a greyhound from Greyhounds 4 U here on the coast, and a lunch was organised at the Bellyfish Cafe at Terrigal ... so we spent a lovely afternoon with some fellow greyhound adoptive parents and their dogs (its a dog friendly cafe on the beach front) followed by a pleasant stroll along the esplanade and up to the Haven, to then visit the Terrigal Food and Wine Festival ... a nice normal day :-) The dogs all behaved brilliantly too, and were a credit to their breed.
